For Grades K-3, we have an In-House Program to build skills and interest in the lower ages. This will generally be a Saturday morning session and 1 weekday evening session from October thru December.
NOTE that we plan to have a 3rd Grade Traveling option for those girls that are interested (and if there is enough interest). This would be a bigger commitment beyond In-House with approx 1 practice per week and would include 3-5 weekend tournaments. There would be an additional cost to participate (~$175) Please indicate your interest for 3rd Grade Traveling on your registration and families will be contacted. Thanks.

Q: How many tournaments/games do traveling teams play?
We will participate in up to 10 tournaments each year including our Northfield Shootout Tournament and the MYAS State Tournament. Please see registration info above for any grade specifics.
Q: How much travel is involved?
Most tournaments are within an hour of Northfield. The State tournament location is determined by MYAS and will be posted in the weeks prior to the state tournament that is held in late February.
Q: How often do teams practice?
Teams normally practice two times per week (1 hour to 1 1/2 hours per practice). Because of gym space constraints, we are unable to determine set days and times each week. Coaches or team managers will share schedules for practices a month at a time.
Q: Where do teams practice?
Teams can practice at any of our Northfield Public Schools. These locations will be shared with the monthly schedules.
Q: How long is the traveling season?
The traveling season begins with practices scheduled in mid to late October. The first tournament of the season is typically in early to mid- November. The season concludes with the State tournament at the end of February.
