The philosophy of the Northfield Boys Basketball Association is to provide a high quality basketball experience that provides all participants with a positive experience from K-12 grades; inspires each player to continue to play and develop their skills; and teach life lessons through positive interaction and sports.
This site has information for our in-house (K to 6th grade) and travel (4th to 8th grade) boys basketball programs.

Travel team tryouts are going to held on October 15th and 16th at the Northfield High School. (Players are required to attend both days). Day 1 of tryouts will consist of mainly drills for skills evaluation and Day 2 will consist of more scrimmaging/game play for evaluation. REMINDER: Families will be required to provide their $250 volunteer/uniform deposit check at checkin for tryouts. Players will not be allowed to tryout without this check so please remember to bring it along. These checks will NOT be cashed until after the season and ONLY if the volunteer hours requirement (6 hours per player (12 max per family)) are not fulfilled and/or uniforms not returned in good condition.
Specific times for each age group are below - again at the High School:
|Saturday, 10-15||Sunday 10/16|
After the 2022-23 season we will have two board positions open as our members age out and move on to high school. We would like to have these positions shadowed this season to make the transition a smooth one! We would love to find a couple parents with kids in the 3rd-5th grade age range. Our Board meets once a month on the 2nd Sunday at 7pm, typically for 60-90 minutes. If you are interested in either of the following please reach out to Steve Fox; firstname.lastname@example.org
Equipment Manager: Manage uniform and equipment distribution and collection and the beginning and end of the season. Monitor equipment conditions, make recommendations on new equipment that is needed and facilitate ordering of equipment and uniforms. The equipment is stored at the High School so not storage in your home is required!
NBA Secretary: This person organizes meeting agendas (provided by President) and takes minutes during meetings. It's helpful for this person to bring a laptop/tablet to meetings, but not required.
Registration is now open. Click on the following link to go to our Shootout Page.
Mark your calendars for the 10th Annual Golf Scramble to be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 with a 1pm shot gun start!

5,000/10,000 SHOT CLUB is offered for players looking to make a bigger commitment to their shooting in the off-season. Players are encouraged to get out to dribble and shoot as much as possible to not only keep up on skills but improve upon them! This is a great opportunity for players to do so and get recognized for their hard work. The shot club consists of two shooting routines, working on a variety of shots and drills! See the shot club flyer for the detailed plans!
Click on the Shot Club page link below to find the online registration and shot routines.
**The Shot Club page also has extra drills and video links suggested by the Varsity coaching staff!**
