The goal of the Northfield Boys Basketball Association is to provide a high quality basketball experience that promotes player and team development, while playing competitive basketball. This site has information for our in-house (1st to 4th grade) and travel (4th to 8th grade) boys basketball programs.

Each year the NBA hosts this tournament consisting of approximately 80 teams from outside communities. This is the NBA's largest fundraiser and helps maintain lower fees for our NBA families. The Raider Shootout is widely acknowledged as a very well run, enjoyable tournament for teams and families to attend. The NBA takes pride in this fact and would like to continue to host a top notch tournament. In order to do so we rely almost exclusively on volunteers to keep the tournament running smoothly. For that reason we ask that each of the NBA Travel families volunteer at least 4 hours of their time over these two days to meet their volunteering requirement. In-House families are not required to volunteer but we welcome any who are able!
The tournament will be hosted at Carleton on Saturday and Sunday, December 1-2 and the Northfield High School on Saturday, December 1st. On Saturday the 4th Grade tournament will be at the High School and the 5th and 6th Grade tournaments at Carleton. On Sunday the 6th and 7th Grade tournaments will be at Carleton. I encourage you to sign up for volunteering on days/times that won't conflict with when your player is scheduled to play so that you are able to watch their games.

The NBA 5,000 and 10,000 Shot Club members were honored on Friday night. There were 32 boys recognized for their dedication to improving their game in the off season. The shooting program will be available again this summer. Great job, NBA players!
